WHAT IS CLINICAL AROMATHERAPY?

In a nutshell, essential oils are extracted from plant leaves, shrubs, trees, flowers, seeds, roots and grasses.  These oils contain the life force of the plants, sometimes also known as the plants' hormones.  When we blend these wonderful, pure, and fragrant oils, they create the most enjoyable, therapeutic and effective products imaginable.

Essential oils are easy and safe to use. Used as directed, they do not build up toxins in the body and there are rarely any ill-toward side effects.  The chemical compounds of essential oils enter the body three ways: 1) Inhaled, 2) Through the Skin, and 3) Orally.  They are most effective in that order.

According to Kurt Schnaubelt, PhD, in his book "Advance Aromatherapy", the success potential with aromatherapy for infections (whether it is bacterial, viral, for fungicidal) is 95%; for disorders of the psyche, nerves, and hormones is 75%; for chronic inflammation and allergies50%; and for metabolic conditions 25%.   What conventional pharmaceutical drug can boast these numbers AND not spend five minutes rambling off their disclaimers of their detrimental, and sometimes fatal, side effects?

The prime time to correct dis-ease is as soon as you notice something just isn't feeling right -- such as the first time you feel that little tingle on your lip heralding the coming of a cold sore! Listen to your body, trust it...your body loves to maintain a healthy state, naturally!
